Belarus Showcase at Reeperbahn

For most people, Belarus is a yet-to-be-discovered country in Eastern Europe with almost 10 million inhabitants, a burgeoning music scene and the desire for more awareness in the West.

12.00 – 12.50 Meet The Belarusians! – opening party with free drinks and Belarusian snacks. First come – first served!

Some of the most internationally promising Belarussian acts of recent years in the genres of indie, rock and electronic music will perform.

12.50 – 13.20 Super Besse /coldwave, post-punk/
13.50 – 14.20 Teleport /psychedelic, indie-rock/
14.50 – 15.20 Mustelide /indie pop, electronic/
During her performances, she works with two synthesizers, a groovebox, a sampler and, of course, she sings. Her voice is beautifully soft, singing her songs in her mother tongue. It sounds modern, spherical and, in an attractive way, exotic.
15.50 – 16.20 Deech /electronic, bass/
Western club culture meets Far Eastern melodies – mixed with great, analogue electronics.
16.50 – 17.20 – Alexei De Bronhe /techno, bass/
He blends bass, techno, old-school electronica and dub into fascinating music using samplers, creating psychedelic and almost hypnotic sound monsters. Alexei is both musician and video artist, who likes to express his songs in depressing experimental video clips. His mixes are rhythmic, sophisticated and vanguard. Just as cold as sensual. An ultra-modern sound that is understood and liked in cities around the globe.

The showcase is organized by Goethe-Institut Minsk, with support of EU-funded project MOST.
